Further Away is our fourth release following the album Dashboard Elvis in 2010 and EPs Third Time Around (2015) and House For Sale (2023).
The material was written during the COVID lockdown months of 2020-2021, and recorded some time later with the talented and patient Tom Robinson at Homestead Studios.
In one way or another all the songs on this album are about memory - of people, landscapes, past relationships and how they change us. We hope you like it ...

Final show for 2024
Saturday 21 December we were back at the beautiful Cosmopolitan Hotel. It was our final gig for the year and it was fun to see it out at one of our favourite venues, and enjoy the hospitality of Fiona and her team at the Cosmopolitan.

The video for Stonehaven Road was shot haphazardly, in the studio whilst we were recording and on car trips through western Victoria. It was filmed mostly with an iPhone but partly with a Canon DSLR. And edited by a total novice.
The days of MTV are gone, so the main point now is to have some vision to accompany a song for different digital placements.
We’d love to afford a proper videographer or film maker … maybe one day.
